Description:

A charming mountain cottage, champagne, strawberries and a beautiful woman by your side – could there be a better way to welcome the New Year? Roman, a businessman and playboy, had everything perfectly planned. However, his passionate rendezvous with the attractive – though not particularly bright – Sandra is interrupted by a cascade of unexpected events and troublesome guests.

It begins with a pair of accidental burglars – the clever Malwinka and the cunning schemer Zbysio – and ends with the arrival of a very angry and devout wife searching for proof of her husband’s infidelity, assisted by Alfred Pszczółka, who combines the roles of lawyer, detective and amateur photographer. When this entire group ends up under one roof, chaos erupts, full of humor and dynamic plot twists. There will even be an Arab sheikh and mermaids from the Baltic coast.

“Petarda” is a hilarious farce directed by the master of the genre, Jerzy Bończak, guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and prove that no situation is too complicated to escape from with a bit of cleverness.
